Busted Pipes Flooded a Hotel in McKinney
SERVPRO of Northeast Collin County/Greenville was called to a local hotel in McKinney, Texas after the hotel experienced a water pipe that busted in its ceiling. The hotel is several stories tall so when the pipes busted in the ceiling, gravity took over and the water ran down the walls and into the floors, soaking everything it came in contact with until it reached the bottom floor. SERVPRO of Northeast Collin County/Greenville had to remove all the water, wet building materials like sheetrock and the insulation that could not be dried so no more water damage could continue and to prevent any type of mold growth.
In this video you see the SERVPRO crew using an insulation extraction machine to remove the water soaked insulation.
